The Choteau American Legion Post 6 hosts an annual 4th of July Rodeo. Sanctioned by the Northern Rodeo Association, it is the largest 1 day rodeo in the Northern Rodeo Association. Events includes Bareback Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Cowgirl's Barrel Racing, Cowgirl's Breakaway Roping, Junior Barrel Racing, Junior Bull Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie Down Roping, and a special event at the conclusion of the rodeo.
We have had stock from Jacobs Livestock for many years and will be with us for another 4 years!
The Rodeo's main performance begins at 2pm with the gates opening around noon. Prior to the main performance we do slack performances starting at 9am, and 30 minutes after the conclusion of the main performance.
Concessions and beer garden on site operated by the Legion Auxiliary and the local wrestling club.
Prices: Reserved Seating $17, General Admission $13, General Admission kids age 7-15 $8.
